What the Million Step March Accomplished

Bob Greczyn, CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, explains the significance of the Million Step March and what it accomplished. This brief video clip was taped shortly after Kathy Higgins and Gary Marino crossed the finish line, ending their 600-mile walk across the state to promote physical activity.

I am 12 years old and I have started walking every day and using my pedometer. I want to start a kid's movement in my town where everybody meets at the Food Lion and walks 3 miles every Saturday morning. Parents can walk, too.

I have really enjoyed the videos. I wish that BCBS could create a video for kids about walking and using a pedometer. We have an obesity crisis in our kids in NC.
