So far, a lot of what we've shown on this site are the big events where hundreds of people show up to be a part of the Million Step March.
This short video is different. Kathy, Gary and a few companions made their way, step by step, through the countryside recently. Videographer Rod Rich captured the moment along N.C. 42 and other roads outside Wilson.

As promised, we bring you highlights from Tuesday's downtown Raleigh event, which filled up the 400 block of Fayetteville Street. This was one of the biggest days on the Million Step March - and we have it captured in this video.

The Million Step March team is in full stride, nearing the halfway point. Today the team, led by Kathy and Gary, begins a series of Triangle events with a Raleigh rally, but before that begins, we want to recap last week in Winston-Salem.
The million steppers put on an event for employees of BB&T, the Winston-Salem-based bank, to demonstrate how to start - and stay with - a walking routine and healthy living. This video captures the day.
